Well everyone I lost my digital camera a couple weeks ago – now if you ask me its still in the house. But after 3 weeks of tearing the place apart with no luck I had to accept that I am missing moments that I need to capture. So I went a searching and found a Nikon D40 on craigslist for less than what I would spend on a normal camera. I’m really excited about it because it takes amazing pictures.

Connor started crawling and standing and almost walking in the last 2 weeks. You could say my life is over – sigh. But hey it’s the way it goes. He’s into EVERYTHING these days, but I guess I dont mind cause well he’s so cute.

Tomorrow Connor, Mom and I head off to Birmingham to see my sister! Yay!! I’ll be taking my laptop with me to blog along the way. 10 hours in the car with my mom and Connor you can guarantee I’ll have something to write about.

Ok – yesterday I went shopping for clothes and I’ve decided something. I will from this day on never even attempt to try on an item with the word stretch anywhere on our near the label. Because for the ladies amoung us who have “a little more to love” the word stretch is a dirty word. Now stretch is like sin… at first it seems very appealing…. but then you wrap it around you and realize what a horrible thing you’ve done to your body. Because you see stretch to woman over a size 8 means that the seams have been given just enough slack to stretch over your curves, but once it’s on your body it’s going to attempt (notice I say attempt) to go back to it’s intended size (which I am convinced is a 4). What does that mean to you my friend? Well it means its going to suck in and show every bump and wrinkle and roll on your body. It means if you have a quarter in the back pocket of those “stretch” jeans a passerby can tell you if its showing head or tails. So say no to stretch my curvaceous friend. If you have no curves or obvious imperfections then I have no time for you.
